Commercial production

Today is October 24th. We  began filming for our first project involving filming, our commercial. It was advertising Gatorade. First we went to our class to collect our equipment and the we signed it out. Shortly after the we went to our first filming location, the track. As we approached the track we noticed a few problems we would have to work around. First, physical education in session during our filming so, there were lots of people at the track. Second, the track seemed to be a popular place for filming. There we're lots of other a ice media students at the track, many of which were using areas we were trying to collect shots from.
These were just minor set backs though, we were able to find a quieter enough spot on the track to collect our shots from. We began by shooting our first shot. I was walking onto the track while other members of our group were "preparing for thr race" and were "stretching." We collected the same shot multiple times just in case we didn't like the way the first version looked. We also did alterations of different shots. For example, on the first shot when I was walking to the track, we got one low angle shot, a close up on my legs and a tracking shot which transitioned into a over the shoulder shot of everyone stretching.
Near the end of filming our camera ran out of battery. Fortunately, a group who was also on the track allowed us to barrow their battery for the rest of our filming. After this we went back to class to dump our footage onto our computer.
